This policy covers this website and Paisa Book, the Android application published by Meridian Shipping Services Private Limited.
Paisa Book has no internet permission. It cannot send your financial records anywhere, because it cannot reach a network at all. There is no account to create, no server holding your data, and no analytics.
Nothing to sign up for. The app never asks who you are.
The app declares no internet permission. Android will not grant it one.
No usage tracking, no crash reporting services, no advertising identifiers.
Nobody receives your data, because nothing leaves the device.
Everything you record — accounts, entries, loans, treasurer books, warranties, card statements, photographs of bills — is written to a database inside the app's own private storage on your phone. Android prevents other applications from reading it. We have no copy and no means of obtaining one.
That is the entire list. The app requests no internet access, no contacts, no location, no SMS access, no camera permission and no access to your general file storage.
You may open a bank or Google Pay statement, share a payment receipt to the app, or attach a photograph of a bill. In each case Android hands the app that one file because you selected it. The app reads it, keeps what you confirm, and asks for nothing further.
Passwords for locked statements are stored in the Android keystore, encrypted by a key generated inside the phone that cannot be extracted from it. They are deliberately excluded from backups.
Backups are files you create and place yourself. The app writes a file; where it goes is your choice. If you save it to a cloud drive, that provider's terms apply to it, not ours. The automatic Android cloud backup is switched off for this app, so your records are never uploaded without your action.
Entries in the app's locker stay encrypted inside the backup and cannot be read without your locker password. There is no recovery for that password. If you lose it and the recovery words, nobody can open it, including us.
Paisa Book is a personal accounting tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
meridianshipping.in is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no contact form. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records standard server logs including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention, as any web host does. We do not use those logs to build any profile of you.
Email addresses published here are routed to our inboxes. If you write to us, we keep your message for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry.
For the app there is nothing to request, correct or erase, because we hold nothing. Your records are on your phone; deleting the app or clearing its data removes them. For email you have sent us, write to the address below and we will delete it.
If the app ever gains a capability that changes any of this, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the date below will change.
